My Story

Sara Molina was born on January 17, 1996 in Brooklyn, NY, to proud parents Irene and Luis Rodriguez. Her mother and father are both of Puerto-Rican descent. Sara grew up in the area of Bushwhick with her four siblings consisting of two brothers and two sisters. 

 

She attended the High School of Arts and Technology in Manhattan, NY for two years and then the Bushwick Community High School in Brooklyn for a little over a year, where she transferred to be closer to her boyfriend Daniel Hernandez professionally known as Tekashi 6ix9ine. The two met through mutual friends in 2012 and begin dating shortly after. They have a child together by the name of Saraiyah Hernandez, born October 29, 2015. 

 

Sara and Daniel’s relationship was on and off for over six years and had a very public end that has received significant ongoing media attention since November of 2018. 

 

It was later revealed the Sara suffered mental and physical abuse during the course of the relationship with her child’s father, when she decided to speak out in article produced by the Daily Beast in February of 2019. 

 

Leading up to coming forward about her personal life, Sara begin to attend engagements with the youth to speak on her past experiences and to motivate kids to work hard & follow their dreams. During the course of her popularity Sara has managed to amassed a large core following also known as the Cactus Gang, which is a loyal group of supporters who have followed or been inspired by her journey as young mother aspiring to provide for her family as well as a survivor of domestic abuse. She has vowed to use her platform to educate and help others and to be a positive influence for people everywhere.
